SIMPLE TO MANAGE
After the ZoneDirector is deployed, it automatically manages the network of access points (APs). It comes with a customisable dashboard that offers instant access to a variety of client and network information and events, and even a real-time heat map, showing where all the APs are placed, and signal coverage.
ZoneDirector Smart WLAN systems integrate a unique performance utility from RUCKUS called SpeedFlex. SpeedFlex allows administrators to locally or remotely determine clients Wi-Fi performance over the wireless LAN, meaning that they can troubleshoot, monitor and measure WLAN performance.

ZoneDirector supports patent-pending Dynamic Pre-Shared Key (PSK) capabilities that streamline WLAN security. After the user completes a one-time authentication, the Zonedirector automatically configures the client’s system with the designated SSID and a dynamically-generated encryption key.
RUCKUS Zonedirector centralises authentication and authorisation decisions from all APs, providing a secure admission across the WLAN. It works with any backend authorisation database such as RADIUS and ActiveDirectory/LDAP and comes with an internal authentication database.
