RUCKUS Release Brand New Wi-Fi 6 Access Points

We’re excited to announce the release of the new RUCKUS R850 and R550 access points (APs). These are the newest additions to the growing suite of Wi-Fi 6 access points in the market place, bought to you by RUCKUS. These new additions to the portfolio offer superior performance for the next generation of network connectivity, now.
The R850 is a high-end indoor access point, designed specifically for ultra-dense indoor locations such as conference centres, lecture halls and stadiums. The R550 is mid-range indoor AP built for medium-density indoor locations such as primary and secondary education and small to medium enterprises.
Both APs deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity. The R850 and R550 can be managed with SmartZone and ZoneDirector controllers, RUCKUS Cloud, and Unleashed.

CommScope RUCKUS R850: INDOOR AP
One of the most powerful RUCKUS APs. This high-end indoor access point (AP) is made for high-density indoor deployments such as conference centres, lecture halls and stadiums.
RUCKUS 850 dual-band 802.11abfb/ac/ax wireless Access Point with multi-gigabit Ethernet backhaul and onboard BLE/Zigbee, 8×8:8 stream (5GHz) and 4×4:4 streams (2.4GHz), OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BeamFlex +, dual ports, 802.3at PoE.

CommScope RUCKUS R550: INDOOR AP
R550 is a mid-range AP built for specifically indoor locations such as the primary and secondary education and SMB deployments.
The RUCKUS R550 represents an evolution in Access Point (AP) technology – it’s not just a Wi-Fi AP, it’s a wireless technology hub. It’s a 4 stream AP (2×2:2 in 2.4 Ghz, 2×2:2 in 5Ghz) that comes with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) capable of delivering 1200 Mbps in 5GHz and 574Mbps in 2.4GHz. The RUCKUS R550 also comes with build-in BLE and Zigbee, and the option to expand to other IoT wireless protocols in the future.
