Purdicom’s Grand Opening

Friday the 16th of October saw Purdicom’s latest expansion at its home in Woolley Barns, with addition of the lower level of Spray House. Mrs Kirsten Loyd ceremoniously opened the official extension accompanied by Sir Philip Wroughton and Mr Morgan-Jones.

Celebrated by staff, management and esteemed guests with breakfast and an unveiling of a plaque at the entrance of the new reception area. The morning marked another step forward of the growth of Purdicom since its formation in 2005 by founder Hugh Garrod.

‘We are extremely grateful to Mrs Loyd for her continued support, generosity and kindness in allowing us to take over virtually all of the offices here at Woolley Barns. It is also testament to the great team we have here who have spearheaded our huge rise in sales over the past ten years,  and whose efforts have made Purdicom what it is today.  Our significant office expansion will allow us to continue our rapid growth and will effectively allow us to well over double our turnover over the next five years.  Once again Purdicom has been able to provide a solid set of foundations for the next exciting phase of its history’.
– Hugh Garrod, MD Purdicom.

Since the foundation of Purdicom in 2005, then Selcoms, the business has grown exponentially increasing its office space by 625% and staff numbers tripling in the last 5 years! 2015 also saw the opening of the Purdicom Conference Centre, or PCC for short, where we host training for several of our vendors and also plays host to  staff events in the summer months to celebrate all their hard work.

We’d like to thank Sir Wroughton, Mrs Loyd and Mr Morgan-Jones for their support and hope to continue the fantastic precedent set by all the staff for continual success in the coming years.
